Rheanna is a fan of old school comics and grew up in a DC world. But, you know, we can save that fight for another day. We talk a little bit about how the Green Arrow started, the parallels and Easter eggs that the new show has in them. We love it! Want to learn a little more about The Green Arrow? Episode 11: Doctor Who Series 1 ~ Boom Town

Via Tardis Wiki

The Ninth Doctor, and his companions, Rose Tyler and Jack Harkness travel to modern-day Cardiff and meet up with Rose's boyfriend, Mickey. There, they discover that their "enemy", Blon Fel-Fotch Passameer-Day Slitheen, is very much alive, if without an easy escape route from Earth, and is willing to rip apart the planet to ensure her freedom.

We are getting closer and closer to the end of Series 1, and I don't think I'm quite ready to accept it. On this episode we talk all about Boom Town, our love of Jack Harkness, what we think about Mickey Rickey and how cool we think it is that the Doctor Who team loved Blaine so much that they decided to bring her back even though the Slitheen were all supposed to have died a couple episodes back.

Sit back and listen as we talk Doctor Who and Boom Town.

The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances Synopsis

It is 1941 and the Blitz is raging. A mysterious cylinder is being guarded by the Army, while homeless children, living on the bombsites, are being terrorised by an unearthly child. And when Rose meets the dashing Captain Jack Harkness, it seems she may have found a hero better than the Doctor himself.
